Winter break is almost upon us which means your children will likely be spending more time with a babysitter or at day care. Each year, dozens of kids break an arm or have an allergic reaction while their parents are at work or maybe on a date night. It's hard to imagine not being there for your child in an emergency, but it happens.

To ensure kids get exactly the right care as quickly as possible, the emergency medicine team at Doernbecher Children's Hospital has created an easy-to-understand emergency consent form. Check out the Doernbecher Healthy Families blog post by Dr. David Spiro to download a free copy of this form and learn why every daycare provider, babysitter or caregiver should have one readily available for each child in his care.
