Feds Debating Marijuana Response

The feds may harsh their high. The New York Times reports the Obama administration has been holding high-level meetings in response to Washington and Colorado's votes to legalize pot.
One option is to sue the states on grounds that their marijuana laws are pre-empted by the Controlled Substance Act. Another option is to go after low-level marijuana users. If the pot smoker tries to get the case dismissed, the feds could then try to get a court ruling that federal law trumps state law.
