The 5th and 6h graders on the Grant Youth Football team are 29-0 over the past three seasons and have earned a trip to the American Youth Football National Championship in Orlando, Florida. Coach Anthony Jordan says this is a big deal for two reasons. Not only will the boys be playing against the best of the best, but a lot of his players have never even traveled out of state, let alone to Florida. Jordan says each player is required to raise $500, but it's expensive to get to the tournament. Nearly $40,000 for all 36 boys. The team still needs about $15,000.
