Matthews Puts Himself In Good Position

The Philadelphia Eagles are sitting at 3-6 in the NFL East and have every right to be disappointed. Former Ducks LB and current member of the Eagles Casey Matthews joined the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to sing a different tune.

Casey and John talk about what it takes to be successful in the NFL and what players have to do to stay positive and win week in and week out.

"You think about each play offense and defense you're always gonna have one guy against you and you just have to know your opponent and know who you're going up against and put yourself in the best position to defeat him."

Casey and John also discuss the head coaching job Andy Reed is doing in Philly and how he's handling the season.

"You would think a coach would just fold it up or lay over but we still have a shot we're only 2 games out of the division and if you win the division you get that ticket into the playoffs."

Casey and John also talk about the Oregon Ducks and their chances at winning a national championship this year.
