Happy Veterans Day

We would like to take the time today to say "thanks" to all of our veterans.  Not just to our World War II vets whom we lose every day, but to our Korean vets, Vietnam vets, Persian Gulf war vets, and vets from Iraq and Afghanistan.  Thank you for your service.

We also mark the date 11-11-11.  Some 35,000 people are expected to get married in Las Vegas to mark the day.  News stories we are tracking today include the exit of Occupy Portland campers. Will they go peacefully? Will they recruit Occupy protesters from other cities as they make their final stand?  What kind of resources are the police calling in?  KXL will have a reporter on standby to cover any events that should unfold this weekend.

We are also following the Penn State sex scandal.  It is sparking anger among sex abuse victims.  We'll hear from one of them.  We'll also talk to our tech expert about radiation from technology like WiFi.  Portland Public Schools is being sued over this kind of exposure.
