Aaron Fentress and Adam Jude join the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the possibility that the Ducks get shafted by the BCS.
The inaugural Oregon Ducks roundtable begins with a discussion of the whether the BCS has the Ducks ranked correctly. Aaron Fentress believes the Ducks are right where they need to be. However, Adam Jude counters Fentress’ claim. Jude takes the side of Duck fans and argues that the Ducks are being held back by the BCS.
The roundtable then talks about where the Ducks can improve. Fentress reports that some of the Ducks think their offensive play was too weak against the Sun Devils. Jude looks to the defense as the area where the Ducks can grow—especially in close games against ranked opponents. He also comments on the fact that Marcus Mariota has yet to face a must-win moment during the reason.
Finally, the roundtable takes on how long we can expect Chip Kelly to stay in Eugene. Jude speculates that coach Kelly will only be around for a few more seasons before taking off for the NFL. Both writers claim that the only thing keeping Kelly in Eugene is that he has yet to win a national title. Aaron and Adam also give their predictions for Saturday’s game against the Colorado Buffaloes and which bowl game the Ducks will play in.
