Beavers’ defense smothers the opposition

The Beavers beat down the Utah Utes by three touchdowns on Saturday. While the Ducks dropped down in the BCS, the Beavers are ascendant, rising up to number seven. This is only the second time that both the Ducks and Beavers are ranked in the top ten at the same time. A big part of that victory was the Beavers defense, which forced four turnovers. D.J. Alexander, Oregon State linebacker, joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about last weekend’s win in Utah.

D.J. and John discuss what motivated D.J. to change his name. He explains why he is so shy around the media and why he’s really an outgoing guy. D.J. then talks about which team was the most challenging thus far. He talks about how the Beavers have managed to stay undefeated despite playing such a difficult schedule.
