A Tri Met bus driver probably has a shiner today. He was punched in the eye by a passenger while driving the Line 4 bus in North Portland. Police say a man punched the driver after he refused his transfer. The man then ran toward North Seward and has yet to be found. He's described as a black man weighing 160 pounds and standing six feet tall. Police plan to check surveillance tape to see if it captured the assault and see if they can identify the guy.
