Frank Gore continued his streak of gashing the Seahawks. The bruising RB ran for 131 yards and caught another 51 as the 49ers defeat the Seahawks 13-6.
The defenses were stout, as predicted, to begin the game, trading field goals in the first half.
Seattle would tack on one more field goal to take a 6-3 lead into the half.
The 49ers scored the games lone touchdown in the third quarter when Delanie Walker took a pass from Alex Smith 12-yards into the endzone.
The play was originally ruled down at the one-yard line, but overturned and San Francisco put six points up on the board.
The 49ers had a chance to find the endzone again, but a timely interception by Brandon Browner kept San Francisco out.
Listen to Browner's interceptionSan Francisco would add one more FG to make it 13-6.
The Seahawks would get the ball with one last chance to tie the game, but couldn't escape the shadow of their own endzone, turning the ball over on downs and allowing San Francisco to kill the clock.
Russell Wilson suffered his worst game so far as the Seahawks starter, completing 9 of 23 passes for 122 yards and a pick.
Marshawn Lynch had 103 yards on 19 carries.
Seattle falls to 4-3 on the season, 1-3 on the road.
