What a difference a few days makes. It was short sleeve weather on Sunday and will be again later this week, but today you need gloves and a scarf as snow dusted the metro area overnight. It has since melted in the lower elevations.
The conditions caused many wrecks and spin outs, especially on the west side. Many school districts opened late and others cancelled classes because of the wintry conditions.
Forecasters say we'll start to warm up tomorrow through Friday with temperatures topping 60 degrees. March snow is not all that unusual, but it's been a while since we've seen it twice in the month. The latest in the season was March 20th, 1995.
