Dave Bartoo from Cfbmatrix.com joins us every week on flight 750 to preview the matchups and upsets for the college football weekend.  He is hitting more than 80 percent of his games correctly.  And more impressive than that, he is hitting on 54 percent of all his upset predictions.  And the good news for Beaver fans, this college football guru expects another upset for the Beavers Saturday as they face the BYU Cougars.

“When I look at this game, number one, the Beavers have a lot more talent than BYU.  BYU hasn’t played anybody.  They’re having a hard time outscoring the St. Louis Cardinals the last two weeks.  And the Beavers – They’re game is not predicated on throwing the football.”  Oregon State is going to go into BYU and I think really beat them handily.  I don’t see the issue of Mannion being out as a factor in this game.  Beavers roll, upset alert number one.”

Although the Beavers appear to be safe for one more week, Bartoo does expect a couple of undefeated, top-10 teams to go down this weekend.

“West Virginia is going to go back to Texas for the second straight week, they are going to play a team that is defensive-minded, they’re going to be looking ahead to a top-10 matchup with Kansas State.  West Virginia is going to go and play Kansas State next week, with a loss.  Kansas State’s going to lose at Iowa State this weekend as well.  Both of them go down in two of my top five upset alerts for the week.”
