The Jackson County Group  is considering banning genetically modified foods. The group says they are in the process of getting all the facts to make a decision on the matter. I think GMO foods are the future. How is it bad if you can make plants that are more resistant to frost, need less water to grow, and are resistant to herbicides. Opponents of GMO foods claim that the foods are harmful to the people who eat them. Today I took a call from a Naysayer named Santino who tried to tell me that GMO seed developers, mainly the creators of the Monsanto seed, were taking it upon themselves to plant their GMO seeds on farms, and shouldn't be able to patent their seed.

Just like anyone who comes up with a new business idea, or a great invention, the creators of the Monsanto seed deserve to be paid for the time and effort they put into creating the seed.
