Jeff Maehl / Bleacher Report

September 26, 2012, 2:29 pm

Former Oregon Ducks Wide Receiver Jeff Maehl was recently signed to the Houston Texans back in 2011. John got in touch with Jeff to see how things have gone in his gradual transition from College to the NFL.

John began the interview by asking Jeff about his new career in the NFL and how it has treated him since his time as a Duck.

"I'm enjoying every second of it. For me growing up as a kid, it was always a dream just to be able to play collegiate athletics. To be able to have the success I had at Oregon, and then to have the opportunity to come to the NFL. It's an unbelievable experience."

Life in the NFL has treated Jeff well over his nearly two seasons, but he says is still finding his way.

"I'm just trying to use the same things that Coach Kelly and some of the coaches from Oregon taught me. I will continue to work hard and try to become the best player I can be."

Jeff is leading a great legacy after his Duck years. John and he continue to discuss his career, and also the current ranked #2 Duck team. Listen in to the interview below:
