Sad Packers fan redeemed on The MSP

We've all been caught up in the emotion of sports, but caught on camera? That's reserved for a select few. Casey Lewis lost her cool, which is why sports is the best reality show around!

This past weekend, the Giants defeated the 15-1 Packers at Lambeau Field in stunning fashion 37-20. Eli Manning was lights out, Hakeem Nicks had a Tyree moment when he caught a TD off his noggin, sending the Packers family into panic mode.

Now, sports can often be confused as something more than just a game; it can be a way of life. And for this 24 year old college student who is studying to be a sports photographer, well, her Packers losing was taken to a whole new level.

The video has garnered over a million hits on Youtube, with Casey’s sister Megan at the helm recording her every reaction. Bumbling over her superstition of sparkles on her nails and wearing a Clay Matthews attributing to the Packers loss, Casey gives a classic, passionate response to dejected fans everywhere. We’ve all been there. Casey just got caught on camera.

So, we here at 750 The Game couldn’t stop there. We had to hear from Casey, the Sad Packers Fan, and her side of the story. Producer Peter Socotch sought her out and invited her to join the program. Casey obliged, still shell shocked that one million people have seen, heard, commented and empathized with her. Hey, if it means something good like Clay Matthews and Aaron Rodgers getting wind of this and wanting to meet her, then it was all worthwhile.
