We know Portland is all about being green and environmentally friendly. But does certifying something as green or environmentally friendly make it safer than products that aren't? When it comes to a lot of building products, there's no real
conclusive evidence that a lot of green certified building products are safer than non certified products. Portland City Commissioner Dan Saltzman joined me on the show today to talk about why the city is "exploring" using green building products that may not be any safer, but will cost the taxpayers even more money...
