Four people were robbed of their property in Northeast and Southeast Portland late Sunday night and early Monday morning. Police say the crimes may be connected.
A man riding his skateboard was robbed of his backpack around 10:30 at Northeast 36th and Grant Place. Some of the stolen property was found a few blocks away.
About an hour later, a woman was robbed of her phone and purse as she walked at Southeast 20th and Oak.
The same happened to a man and woman walking at Northeast 33rd and Holman shortly after midnight.
Each time, three black men in their late teens or early 20's were involved and one of them had a gun. One of the suspects had chin-length
braids or dreads.
