Motorcyclist Flees Police For Over 60 Miles

Police ended the pursuit of a motorcyclist twice before finally getting the man to stop more than 60 miles later.
The Hood River County Sheriff's office began chasing him after he was clocked at 135 mph. They stopped chasing him at the Multnomah County line.
Then Oregon State Troopers spotted the man on Interstate 84 near Corbett and followed him into the Hollywood district before terminating.
Within minutes, Portland Police pulled over the motorcyclist going 90 mph on the Sunset Highway westbound at Sylvan where he was arrested.
20-year-old Nikolay Mitkov of Northwest Portland may have taken off because his license was suspended. He's also charged with eluding and reckless driving.
