PORTLAND -- Multnomah County Judge Henry Kantor's courtroom was very quiet as Terri Horman's attorney announced that he knows his client was not the last person to see Kyron Horman in June of 2010 when he disappeared from a science fair at Skyline School.
What was supposed to be a visitation hearing turned into something else. Attorneys for Terri said that Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, his biological parents, repeatedly accused her of criminal acts to make her appear unfit to care for her now 4-year-old daughter who she has not seen for three years. Terri's attorney further accuses them of making her out to be the bad girl and deny her a relationship with her child.
Kaine has requested that Terri not be allowed to see Kiara because she's involved in the criminal investigation of Kyron's disappearance.
The judge will decide by Monday how to move forward with visitation. Meantime, a Grand Jury continues to hear testimony in the case of the missing boy.
