A fire 8 miles SW of Sisters has quickly spread to 15-hundred acres due to windy conditions. Several campgrounds have been evacuated because of the Pole Creek fire. 115 firefighters are on the line with more on the way today. The Inter Agency Fire Coordination Center says
the blaze was not caused by lightening. The cause is under investigation. A red flag warning is in effect today because of low humidity and more windy conditions. The fire is zero contained. People living in the Cross Roads area have been told to be ready to evacuate.
