Carson York / Bleacher Report

September 10, 2012, 2:27 pm

The Oregonian's Ducks beat writer Aaron Fentress joined John Canzano on the Bald Faced Truth today to talk Ducks football, and the many recent injuries facing Oregon.

Offensive Line standout Carson York has suffered an injury to his right knee, and Fentress was there to speak with Carson, on crutches, about it.

"He walked right up to us and basically said he is going to have knee surgery tomorrow. He never said, "I'm done.", but pretty much that he's having the surgery, and the recovery time is longer than the season."

John also had Wisconsin beat writer Tom Mulhern on to discuss the sudden firing of Badger Offensive Line coach Mike Markuson. His ejection was in response to the huge upset Wisconsin faced against the Beavers this past Saturday.

"I was surprised. It was a pretty dramatic move, and to happen after two games at this point in the season. It's not totally unprecidented, but it's pretty rare."

Listen to both interviews below as John talks with both Fentress and Mulhern about a very surprising start to the week for college football.
