This is a great side-dish…when it comes to Southern Cooking-it’s as mandatory as sweet tea. I’m talking grits! Now before you wrinkle up your nose-try this Mr BBQ Recipe as a barbecue side-dish. I think you’re gonna like it for sure!
Ingredients: ½ cup Quaker Instant Grits, 2 cups water 1 tsp. salt, 1 cup grated SHARP cheddar cheese, 1-2 TBL finely chopped green onions.
Preparation: On the stove, bring the salted water to a boil, add the grits and boil/cook for approximately 20 minutes, then begin to stir in the grated cheese and onions. Continue to cook until the grits are creamy or as package directions indicate. Remove from heat and serve with pepper and butter. YUMMY!
