Active Search For Portland Hiker Ends

After SIX days, the Marion County Sheriff's office has decided to END the search for Ronald Ohm...a hiker from Portland.  The 52 year old was hiking with friends one week ago when he decided to stay behind to take pictures while the friends went ahead to set up camp.  Ohm never showed up at the camp near Mt Jefferson.  The sheriff says they stopped their search partly because doctors say Ohm's chances of survival were not good.  He's a diabetic who needed to take his medicine daily....and didn't have it.  He also only had enough food through last Sunday.
