Missing Crewman's Body Found in Columbia River

Andres Staples fell off the stern of the Queen of the West cruise ship and drowned while it was moored in Rainier, Oregon last week. Witnesses saw him in the Columbia River for a short time before he disappeared.
A search by a Coast Guard helicopter and boat found only his shirt. The search was later suspended due to the low chance of survival.
About six miles downriver from Longview, boaters spotted Staples' body last night. He was wearing a coat that would have made it difficult for him to swim to safety.
