Yes, it WAS hot on Saturday. Steve Pierce, president of the Oregon chapter of the American Meteorological Society says Portland International Airport set a new record high for the date. As of 4:30 PM Pacific time, the temperature recorded a high of 101°. This surpasses the old record of 100 set on this date in 1990.| Add your comments below | |
