There's A New Way To Start A Business In Oregon

A new state business website looks to change the bad rap Oregon has gotten as being "NOT" business friendly.

Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown says Business Express is designed to get rid of some frustrations business owners have, "One of my goals is to use technology to ensure that it is a business friendly state."

That's where Business Express comes in, a kind of one stop shop for everything from paying business taxes on line to getting permits and license's.

"We took a look at best practices from around the country," Brown said, "and basically said we can do this better."

The website kicked off Wednesday and is the first of it's kind in the country that is available to use on mobile devices.
