The Last Man to Walk The Moon
Today I had the great pleasure of speaking to Harrison "Jack" Schmitt. If you don't recognize the name, you should. Jack was the last man to walk on the moon with the Apollo 17 mission. Unfortunately, a large shadow has been cast over the anniversary of Schmitt's historic walk.
Today the president built himself a bonfire on top of the dwindling flames of the George Zimmerman verdict. This weekend, around the country protesters will ignore the findings of the Zimmerman jury and the previous investigation conducted by the FBI and the local authorities in Florida, and join the president's Trayvon Martin bonfire.
Rather than focus on "justice" for Trayvon this weekend, listen to Jack Schmitt tell his story. This short interview is a powerful reminder that our government used to back real progress.
