Man Who Stripped Naked at PDX Found Not Guilty

Brennan after he stripped naked

It was a quick trial for a frequent-flying businessman who stripped naked at Portland International Airport when a TSA screener believed he had explosives after setting off a wand. John Brennan took off his clothes last April to prove he had no bomb.
Brennan took the stand saying he believes he was in the right and the stunt was not premeditated. He says he was fed up with all the stories he's heard of travelers being harassed and was simply exercising his constitutional right to free expression.
A police report says screeners asked him several times to put his clothes back on. Two lanes were closed while parents shielded their children, Brennan was wrapped in a towel and handcuffed.
A jury came back with a not guilty verdict for indecent exposure this afternoon.
