John Boyett's First NFL Season

Former Ducks Safety John Boyett joined guest host Fletcher Johnson on the Bald Faced Truth Friday afternoon to talk about entering his first NFL season with the Indianapolis Colts.
“It’s a dream come true to be able to play in the NFL. The funny thing is, the closer you get to the goals you had when you were growing up, the more goals you have. I still have a long way to go.”
Boyett played Safety for the University of Oregon until double knee surgeries ended his senior season.
“It was extremely difficult not being able to be out there with my teammates, wanting to get out there and help Oregon win a national title. But through all difficult times you learn a lot about yourself and about the people around you and I think it made me a better person.”
Boyett continues to train and rehabilitate with Indianapolis.
"Whenever they want me out there, they want me out there. So I'm just listening to them and doing what they tell me."
Boyett predicts a great future season for his former teammates at Oregon.
"I think Coach Helfrich is going to do a heck of a job. I'm really interested to see all the new players, to see who steps up."Click here to listen to the interview.
