Body Found On Elementary School Grounds

A body was found outside on the East Orient Elementary School grounds around 8am this morning. It was spotted near the playground by the custodian. Gresham Fire personnel arrived prior to responding law enforcement and determined the female was clearly deceased. The person appears to be an adult female in her 20's or 30's. Multnomah County Detectives have responded and are handling the investigation. The Medical Examiner has been notified and called to the scene. No additional details can be released at this time.
