Fireworks Barge Ready For Blues Festival

Blues Festival Fireworks Barge

The Blues Festival fireworks barge has preparing for what the owner of Western Fireworks says will be the biggest show in Oregon. Bob Gobet has been a Pyrotechnician for over 30 years now. He says timing is crucial when you set off such a huge production. His crew has been setting up the barge that will shoot off the fireworks over the last couple of days.
Gobet says there are some new items to look out for during the show tonight. Fire and Coast Guard officials will clear the river as the barge is floated to the festival area. They'll fire them off at 10 pm.
