The TSA has expanded it's PreCheck Security Program at Portland International Airport. Passengers on five airlines are now eligible, including United, U.S. Airways, Alaska, American and Delta. A TSA Spokesperson says people eligible for this program don't have to take their shoes off at the metal detectors, and they can keep any liquids or laptops in their bags. In return, they must provide some information about themselves and their traveling habits to the airlines and the TSA. You can see if you're eligible here.
