Crews Use Jaws of Life, After Car Accident

Two people were injured in a pin-in crash Saturday night on SE Barbara Welch Drive around 6:07PM. Crews from Portland Fire and Clackamas Fire District 1 responded. A car ran off the road and ended up in the brush. One person was outside the vehicle and another was trapped in the front passenger seat. The Jaws of Life were used to cut the roof off the car. The two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. So far there has been no word on the cause for the crash or the names of the two injured.
