This weekend Eugene will be hosting Tennessee Tech, in what should be an easy win for the Ducks. However, the recent season-ending injuries to both Carson York and John Boyett will be hard to ignore. Oregon Duck linebacker Michael clay joined John Canzano on the Bald Faced truth today to talk about how the Ducks will overcome these losses for a win this Saturday against the Golden Eagles.

As a close friend to John Boyett, Michael has a personal understanding of how losing him will effect Oregon's season.

"It's a big loss; he's a four year starter. He would do everything in the back end. He was kind of the security blanket."

Even though the Ducks are facing these early season hurdles, and this game is supposed to be an 'easy win', they are still ready to push even harder this Saturday.

"This team's not going to come down here and just lay down for us. They are going to come out here with that want to attitude, wanting to shock the world, so we have to be ready for their best."

Michael and John continued to go in depth on the loss of Boyett, and this upcoming game against Tennessee. Listen to the interview below:
