John Spencer talks win over Sounders

With the Portland Timbers win over the Seattle Sounders last Saturday John Canzano has pulled John Spencer, the head coach of the Timbers, on to the Bald Faced Truth to talk about the game. Spencer started the interview off by talking about the first half and how they were able to get those first goals and set the pace for the second half. He was worried about the pressure that the Sounders were putting on them in the second half but the Sounders did not threaten the Timbers goal to much.

Spencer talks stats with Canzano on how the Timbers have been letting their game slip recently and how that can stick with you for a while. Spencer goes on to say that their defense has been on top that last six weeks and has been number one in the nation. With the help of David Horst and Futty Danso, Spencer looks to them for their leadership and ability to empower the team.
