Long Line Waiting For Public Housing Spots

Dozens of people waited in line overnight in North Portland hoping to  get affordable housing at the New Columbia Housing Project. The first person in line arrived at 6pm last night even though the office does not open until 10 am. The Section 8 housing requires tenants to pay 30% of their salary for rent.
