Would less aggressive marijuana laws lead to a spike in pot use by teens? Not according to a study out of the University of Oregon. Economics professor Benjamin Hansen looked at teen marijuana use since 1993 and then compared that with states like Oregon where medical marijuana use is legal. The Register-Guard reports they found no connection between marijuana legalization and an increase in teen pot use. Since 2005, pot use by teens has gone up. But the increase has been at the same rate regardless of the state's marijuana laws.
