Two women are resting at home after spending longer than planned on a trail in the Columbia Gorge. Holly Steyles, Jennifer Crawford and their dog were dropped off at Larch Mountain Sunday afternoon for a hike. Their friend who was picking them up called for help as it began to get dark. Searchers were able to contact the women on a cell phone and get an idea of their location. They were found about 1:15 this morning. One woman had a sore knee but the two were otherwise okay. The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office says neither hiker had a flashlight or map.
