Roger Levesque is public enemy #1

When you think Northwest rivalries one of the big ones that comes to mind is the Timbers/Sounders rivalry. Seattle Sounders FC forward Roger Levesque joined the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the rivalry game. Levesque talked today about his big moments against the Timbers in his soccer career and why Portland fans seem to hate him. We learned one thing though, the guy thrives off of it. So much to the point where he likes to tweet about supposedly "sinking" the Timbers Army. It is pretty obvious that this weekends match between the two clubs will provide Northwest bragging rights for the victorious team.

Both sides do seem to see eye to eye on one thing though, and that is the fact that this rivalry is a very healthy thing for Major League soccer fans across America. With ESPN televising the contest it is obvious that some light has been brought upon the great Northwest rivalry. Levesque likes what he sees with this and hopes this brings more support and fans to the sport.
