Parents Accused of Killing Their Son

The parents of five year old Mahanayre Noa brought him to the hospital last week claiming  he had been injured in a fall. He died a short time later. The couple was arrested Monday afternoon on accusations they beat the boy to death. That's when the Portland Police Bureau's Child Abuse Team started an investigation which led to them calling in homicide detectives. An autopsy by the state medical examiner's office determined the death was caused by battered child syndrome. 26 year old Kalman and 27 year old Valisha Eteuati are due in court this afternoon to be arraigned on  murder charges.
