People living in the Central Oregon town of Sisters are being told to stay inside today because a wildfire that has burned 25 square miles nearby has made the air unhealthy. The Pole Creek fire is just about  10 percent contained Fire managers will meet with concerned residents tonight at 7:30 at Sisters Elementary.

Canadian crews are heading to Central Washington today to help crews battle more than 240 fires there. The biggest one is a complex of fires covering  25 hundred acres near Wenatchee. Its just 17 percent contained and has forced hundreds of people out of their homes.
