The Bob White Theatre on Southeast Foster was built in 1924. It operated for more than 60 years as a movie theatre and concert venue until it closed in the 80's. Nick Storie recently bought the place and has been renovating ever since. But he admits he tried to take on too much by hosting events and renovating at the same time. He says it's been too much work and they've been putting too much focus on the events and falling behind on renovations. That means this weekend's event is canceled, and all other events have been put on hiatus. You can keep up with the renovations of the theatre on it's facebook page.
