Trouble at Taco Bell... And it wasn't with the food. Beaverton Police Detective Jim Shumway says after getting into a minor fender bender off of SW Scholls Ferry Road, two drivers, including an 85-year old female drove into the parking lot to exchange information. When she pulled into the parking space she drove up over the curb and slammed into the fast food joint. Two patrons sitting near by were hurt. One lady was dealt a lump on the head while the other got some minor lacerations to the face. Both were transported to local hospitals. An initial investigation shows no mechanical fault with the Toyota Camry. Shumway says "The 85 year old female could not say specifically how it was that she drove into the building". He also said the conclusion of a more thorough investigation concludes driver error, the 85-year old may have her license stripped from the DMV if she fails to pass a re-test.
