June 13, 2013, 3:41 pm
Long time actor and comedian; Pauly Shore
joined John Canzano on The Bald Faced Truth today to discuss his career as well as his upcoming appearance at Harvey’s Comedy Club
on June 21st, and 22nd.
who is best known for his roles as an MTV VJ during the late 80’s and early 90’s when MTV was at its pinnacle in popularity, starred in numerous films throughout his career; most notably films such as Encino Man, In The Army Now, Son In Law, Bio Dome and Jury Duty.
Shore originated the stoner, class clown, slacker role that is now a staple in Hollywood comedies and even at age 45, he still loves to bring the weasel out “[I love bringing the weasel out] it’s dusty [and] it’s very sensitive.”
When Canzano asked Shore if he ever wants to do new material as opposed to going back to his “weasel” schtick, Shore responded, “You don’t want to bite the hand that feeds you. If people yell it out and they want to hear me scream it [I’ll do it], it makes them feel better. Sometimes people just need to get it out of their system and once I do [the Weasel] I can talk about whatever I want.”
If you want to see Pauly Shore live, he will be at Harvey's next weekend!
