With just two weeks left until the NBA draft, it’s a very busy time for draft experts everywhere. But lucky for us, we were able to catch Bernie the Wolf Wolfson on a break in his scouting time. He joined Chad on Flight 750 Wednesday to give us a preview of what is to come on June 27th.Although we caught Bernie on his off day, we didn’t really catch him under the best of circumstances. He had just gotten into a little tussle with his momma. And this one was one the worst yet.
“I’m in this van driving and the exhaust just kind of shoots it back here, so I get a little light-headed and I’m just really emotional because my momma called me something terrible…She said ‘I guess those internet people are right. You are a chode munch!’ And I said ‘Hello? I’m your son, you should not be saying that about me’.”
Bernie also said that the hounds have been all over him recently and if someone wanted to teach one of those rude souls a lesson, he would not step in that person’s way.
“Being part of #TeamFriendship, I can’t condone somebody who attacks somebody who is ugly to me. But if it happens, I will turn a blind eye because I’m tired of people telling me that they’re going to do stuff to my mom.”
And finally Bernie gave some thoughts on the draft. His choice for number one pick might surprise you.
“The top player on my draft board is Mason Plumlee. I think that he reminds me of those twins from the Harry Potter movies. Him and the other Plumlee, they seem like nice people. They play for Mike Krzyzewski. I never see them yell at people. I’ve never seen them get in a fist fight on the television when I’ve watched. So I would say Mason Plumlee would be my number one.”
