April Showers Bring Wet Hippies

The Occupy movement is up to their illegal protests  again as they converge on downtown Portland in what they are calling the May Day protest. Leftist are in disbelief over the fact that the police are moving in and arresting the Occupiers. The only problem is that the police are doing the job we pay them to do. The May Day protesters did not do their due diligence and get the necessary permits to hold a legal protest. As soon as the protest became a hindrance to the flow of life in the city the police have a responsibility to step in.

Once again the protesters gather with no clear message to get across and no leadership to get any message they might have across to the people. I am proud to exercise my first amendment rights every day and am quite passionate about what I say. I find it baffling that the many occupy protesters want their voices to be heard and yet they wear masks to cover their faces.
