Made in America
Since yesterday's interview with Gerald Rowlett, we've been talking a lot about building houses with all American products. I opened up the phone lines for the topic and heard a lot of differing opinions. Some of you said that you'd be willing to pay 3 to 5 percent more for a house if it was made American and some of you said the only thing that matters is the quality of the product and not where it was made. What this all comes down to is a matter of opinion, really. That's the choice you have as an American. However, my preference would be to buy American because I believe in it for a variety of reasons. We know that the quality will be top notch, but also imagine that if every person in this country that built a new house used American products. Think about what that would do for this economy...
