A lot has happened since fire destroyed Crestline Elementary School last month. Plans to rebuild the Vancouver school are taking shape as donations of books, school supplies and money still pour in.
The property is being cleared by a contractor in preparation for a new building that's expected to open in the fall of 2014.
The Evergreen School District is close to signing a lease on a building where they could move all the kids under one roof this coming fall. Right now, students are spread out between five schools.
Enough supplies have been donated for next year and maybe the next. Cash donations have reached $100,000.
