Federal prosecutors say there are no grounds for a new trial for Mohamed Mohamud who was convicted in January of trying to blow up Pioneer Square during the tree lighting ceremony in 2010. Court documents says Mohamud received a fair trail and defense motions calling for acquittal or a new trial are groundless. Defense attorneys have until March 25th to respond. Mohamud will be sentenced May 14th.| Add your comments below | |
