Governor Signs $450 Million Dollar CRC Bill

Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber signed a $450 million dollar bill Tuesday authorizing the state to help pay for the Columbia River Crossing project.  The bill is contingent upon the Washington State Legislature passing their own $450 bill.  The federal government must also kick-in over $1 billion dollars, and the U.S. Coast Guard will have to authorize the plan for the new I-5 bridge that would connect Oregon & Washington.
