Portland Firefighters had their hands full with multiple fires in Southeast Portland. One fire started around 8:00PM Sunday night at a business near Southeast 22nd Avenue and Holgate. Crews were able to get the fire under control after 8:30PM, but continued to fight flare ups. No one was hurt. The cause is unknown. Earlier crews were fighting a fire at a Buddhist temple on Southeast 126th. One woman was treated for smoke inhalation. A faulty ignition switch on a propane stove is to blame.| Add your comments below | |
